India - "Don Bosco Nava Nirman" work distributes aid to the needy
Maniguda, India - May 2021 - From 24 to 26 May, the "Don Bosco Nava Nirman" work of Maniguda, in the state of Odisha, belonging to the Salesian Province of Hyderabad (INH), provided free food kits to migrant workers, residents slums, rag pickers, beggars, street vendors and tribal families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and all those in need of support. "Don Bosco Nava Nirman", with the support of "Bosco Seva Kendra", the Planning and Development Office of the INH Province, also distributed essential food materials such as rice, oil, fruit, vegetables, biscuits and masks to over 300 families. The Director, Fr Arul Das, SDB, led the program with the collaboration of the members of the community, who also visited the “Bosco Study Centers” in the tribal villages and distributed fruit to the children.
