Benin - Street children introduced to art to increase their self-esteem
Cotonou, Benin - May 2021 - The "Mamma Margherita" Salesian Center in Cotonou has started an introductory art course for street children in the Dantokpa open-air market since May. The goal of the activity is to lead children to discover their hidden talents, exercise them to increase their self-esteem and establish themselves in society. During the first phase, the educators determined what kind of support to give to each of the children and in the following phases they taught them to stretch the canvas, prepare the necessary material, and to paint.
