Burundi - Over 400 young people at feast of St Dominic Savio
Bujumbura, Burundi - May 2021 - The Salesian parish of Buterere celebrated the feast of Saint Dominic Savio on 9 May. The event began with a procession attended by various groups inspired by the adolescent saint: 200 altar boys, 160 members of the "Pueri Cantores" choir and 80 members of the "Friends of St Dominic Savio" group, from various parishes in Bujumbura; then, the Eucharistic celebration followed, presided over by the parish priest Fr Henri Bakishimira. All the ceremonies took place at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Buterere.
