Brazil - Social Action benefits 1,084 families
Natal, Brazil - April 2021 - On 28 April the "Dom Bosco" Education Center (CEDB), in compliance with biosecurity standards, distributed food packages and hygiene kits to 570 families in the oratory. The social action called "Who is hungry is in a hurry" was made possible thanks to the coordination between entities and social movements of the districts of Lagoa Azul and Vila de Ponta Negra, and the financial support of the Ministry of Labor of Rio Grande del Nord. In total, 1,084 families in situations of unemployment and vulnerability benefited from the initiative: 514 from Vila de Ponta Negra and 570 from Lagoa Azul and the surrounding area, who registered with the CEDB.
