Brazil - Salesian house in Itajaí turns 60
Itajaí, Brazil - March 2021 - On 25 March the Salesian "Parque Dom Bosco" in Itajaí, belonging to the Brazil-Porto Alegre Province (BPA), celebrated its 60th anniversary. For this reason, following the biosecurity protocol, a cultural recreation was organized by students and educators, which featured the various talents present in the work. Furthermore, on March 26, a commemorative celebration was held, also broadcast live on the institute's Facebook page, and on the occasion the Municipal Councilor of Itajaí Beto Cunha, on behalf of the whole Council, delivered a plaque of honor to those responsible for the work. Following the mission of welcoming, educating and evangelizing children, adolescents and vulnerable young people of Itajaí, the Salesian work continues Don Bosco's legacy of forming good Christians and upright citizens.
