Chile - Over 300 participants in SYM 2021 opening party
Chile - April 2021 - Several members of the Council of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), of the Youth Ministry of the Salesians and of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, led, on April 10, the online party for the start of SYM 2021 activities on the theme "Moved by Hope I leave my mark”. Over 300 participants, representatives of the various educational-pastoral communities of the country, took part in the three online meetings, organized by age group - children, adolescents and young people - which celebrated the life and action of the SYM, recognizing its impulse and commitment to society. Furthermore, they were able to deepen Ceferino Namuncurá's model of holiness. The three meetings were attended by, among others, Fr Carlo Lira, Superior of the Salesian Province of Chile (CIL), Sr. Ximena Oyarzo, FMA Provincial, and Fr Juan Miguel Cárcamo, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry.
