Concepción, Chile - March 2021 - On March 30 and 31, the Salesian Institute of Concepción delivered Chromebook laptops to 7th and 8th grade students. Fr Claudio Cartes, Director of the Institute, in the presence of the Dean Ida Sepúlveda, blessed the computers before delivering them to the parents of the students. The Chromebooks are institutionally configured and labeled for immediate use by students. The initiative is part of the "Salesian Technological Innovation Project", which aims at a correct and equitable connection of students to academic and pastoral activities. The IT department, with the support of educational assistants, provided the material and technological support.
