India - 25 girls from the slums selected for hockey school
Mumbai, India – 16 June 2016 - Twenty-five girls aged between 8 and 12 from the slums of Wadala, Matunga and Kings Circle, have been selected to take part in a Hockey School. The initiative was organized by the "Don Bosco Development Society" and the "Don Bosco International School" in Matunga in collaboration with professional hockey coaches. The aim is to train professional players for the Indian national team.
