Myanmar – Seminar on Social Communication
Yangon, Myanmar – June 2016 – On the occasion of the celebration of the 50th Day of Social Communications (SC), a seminar on Social Communication was held from June 11th to 15th. The event was guided by Seàn-Patrick Lovett, director responsible for the programs of Vatican Radio in English language, and was organized by Fr. Leo Mang, SDB, who since 2010 works as National Director for Social Communications of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Myanmar. On June 11th, there was a special session for the 18 Bishops of Myanmar. On June 12th, with the Mass that was presided over by Salesian Cardinal Charles Bo, were opened the sessions dedicated to the various themes of SC, with the participation of 2 Bishops, 16 diocesan Directors of SC, 5 Priests, 18 Sisters, 4 Salesians and two lay people.
