Yercaud, India - January 2021 - On 29 and 30 January, the “Shevaroyhills Don Bosco” Youth Collective (SDBYC) organized the first edition of the “Don Bosco Football Rolling Trophy” on the initiative of the young people of Manjakuttai, one of the villages located in the area's hills. The tournament saw the participation of 30 teams with professional referees from the “District Football Association”. The intention is to organize - every year, near the feast of Don Bosco - a football tournament named after the "saint of young people" at the "Don Bosco Retreat", and to set up an organizing committee. The goal is to involve more and more teams, attracting young people from the area through football to improve their skills, offer continuous motivation, foster team spirit, and encourage talented young people to carry out sport-related studies. The tournament culminated with the feast day of Don Bosco.
