Cape Verde - Minister of Education visits Salesian School
São Vicente, Cape Verde - January 2021 - On January 15 the Salesian School of Arts and Crafts of São Vicente, Cape Verde, received a visit from the Minister of Education, Dr. Amadeu Cruz, and the National Director of Education, Dr. Eleonora Sousa. The visit is part of the journey that the two authorities are making in the country's schools to learn about their reality and how they work. The Minister was received by Rector Fr Luís Peralta, SDB, by various members of the council and by about a hundred first-cycle students and their teachers, who warmly welcomed him by singing the school hymn. The Minister visited the various structures and took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the positive contribution the Salesian School has been giving to Cape Verdean society. Furthermore, he underscored that the Salesian School is a fantastic organization, which in the past has been and continues to be today a reference for the country's educational system.
