Mexico – Salesian Day of Educative Pastoral Planning
Mexico City, Mexico – June 2016 – On June 10-11th, in the “Domingo Savio” Institute there was the encounter of the Salesians involved in School Ministry. Various were the themes dealt with, among which “Prevention of Violence in the School”, with a conference delivered by magistrate Homero Pantoja Rivas, who underscored the problem of bullying; and “the Challenge of Education in the XXI Century”, with a contribution from Leonardo Kourchenco, expert in Communication and Education, who highlighted the importance of technology in teaching. The participants modified the school ethic code in favour of the protection of minors and revised mission, vision and strategic targets taking into account the present challenges for Salesian schools in Mexico.
