Argentina – Rodeo del Medio “the Cradle of Argentinian Oenology”
Mendoza, Argentina – June 2016 – The Salesian House of Don Bosco in Rodeo del Medio (Mendoza), belonging to the Province of North Argentina (ARN), has been declared by the Argentinian legislative organ a place of patrimonial tourist interest as the “Cradle of Argentinian Oenology”, giving life "to the emblematic institution of viticulture of Mendoza and at a national level, as a school of formation of great oenologists”. Recently the new wine cellar was inaugurated, with a capacity of 600.000 liters, which is completed with the oldest wine cellar in Mendoza and with the only wine tower of Latin America. At present, 500 young pupils study viticulture and oenology at the Institute.
