Vietnam - 25th anniversary of foundation of Salesian Cooperators
K'Long, Vietnam - October 2020 - The Salesian Cooperators of the Vietnam Province celebrated the 25th anniversary of their foundation on 3 and 4 October in the Salesian Retreat Center in K'Long. Over 450 people took part in the event which was held outdoors. The theme of the meeting centered on the Rector Major's Strenna 2021, “Moved by hope: See, I am making all things new” (Rev 21.5), with the interventions of the Salesian Brother Dominic Nguyen Duc Nam, Delegate of the World Salesian Cooperators, Fr Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, SDB, Councilor for the East Asia-Oceania Region, and Fr Joseph Nguyen Van Quang, SDB, Superior of the Vietnam Province (VIE). The Salesian Cooperators of Vietnam currently animate 17 local centers with over 500 members. During the meeting, 47 new members of the association made their promise.
