Russia - Salesians and young people together for an environmental initiative
Yakutsk, Russia - September 2020 - The Salesian community of Yakutsk, in the Autonomous Republic of Sakcha (Russian Federation), participated with its young people in the environmental initiative "Pay homage to the Lena River". The group of volunteers, made up of students, bloggers, retirees, clerics, journalists, employees and friends, cleared garbage along 300 meters of the Siberian river bank. The waste was disposed of free of charge by the ECOSETI company, while the "Colour" company provided the posters for free, and the Catholic parish of Yakutsk supported the initiative.
