Zambia - Salesians response to pandemic emergency
Lusaka, Zambia - September 2020 - The Salesians of the Zambia-Malawi-Zimbabwe-Namibia Vice Province (ZMB), in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, provide assistance and support to Salesians traveling across the borders of the countries; they support people who have lost their jobs; carry out prevention and awareness initiatives in local communities, especially in rural areas; discuss and reflect on post-pandemic recovery actions and responses to potential emergency actions. The ZMB Vice Province is supported by the Salesian Mission Office of Madrid, South Korea and the Salesian Don Bosco Association of the Czech Republic.
