Brazil - Shrine of Mary Help of Christians donates food baskets to Indigenous
Cuiabá, Brazil - July 2020 - 300 food baskets were donated by the wife of the Governor of the state of Mato Grosso, Virgínia Mendes, to the Sanctuary of Mary Help of Christians in Cuiabá, which with the collaboration of its parishioners regularly supports 250 families in vulnerable situations. The other 50 food baskets were donated to the Xavante indigenous people who live in the parish community of Sangradouro, about 350 km from Cuiabá.
