Ecuador - Volunteers on missions in new digital courtyards
Ecuador - May 2020 - On 11 May, 18 young people of the Salesian Youth Missionary Voluntary Service (VJMFS), who belong to the Costa 2020-2021 Expedition, started their work on social networks and virtual communication platforms due to the country's health emergency. The Salesian Province of Ecuador, together with the Directors of the houses, local leaders of the pre-volunteers and the team of animators of the "VJMFS", have developed a new proposal which includes a temporary virtual community, moments of virtual formation, spaces for youth prayer and personalized accompaniment. The aim is to strengthen motivation, faith and prepare young people before their sending Eucharist, which will take place when the country's authorities authorize mobility, with their respective precautions.
