Peru - "Food Angels" help the poor
San Juan de Lurigancho, Peru - May 2020 - In this moment of crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the poor of Peru receive aid thanks to the support of the "Food Bank", the over 60 organizations that support it, and social organizations such as "Fundación Don Bosco". A member of the Salesian emergency team, Ellery Clint, managed to bring various foods to different families living in San Juan de Lurigancho, an area that cannot be reached by cars, and a woman thanked them by calling them "Food Angels".
