Colombia - Youths of Cali "Don Bosco" produce masks
Cali, Colombia - April 2020 - At the "Don Bosco" Vocational Training Center in Cali, belonging to the Salesian Province of Medellín (COM), a group of young people liberated from the armed conflict wanted to produce masks to make their own contribution to prevent COVID-19 infections. Led by Fr Jesús Bolaño, the young people access the tailoring workshop at various times of the day to produce masks that respect health standards, intended for people who do not have the opportunity to obtain this precious element of prevention. These young people, who once carried a weapon in their hands, today are bearers of light, with simple and concrete words and actions, for the common good and in favor of the most needy.
