Brazil - "Street Angels" distribute meals to vulnerable people
Itajaí, Brazil - April 2020 - The "Street Angels" Movement of the Salesian parish "St Giovanni Bosco" of Itajaí prepares and delivers canned meals for people in a state of social vulnerability. 70 meals were delivered to the Specialized Reference Center for People in Street Situations. The initiative, carried out in harmony with the "2020 Fraternity Campaign", was carried out in collaboration with the Municipal Social Assistance Secretariat to assist people in vulnerable situations in this time of pandemic. In normal times, every Sunday, the "Street Angels" produce and distribute meals to about 100 people in situations of social vulnerability.
