India - COVID-19: services to migrants and needy people
Tiruchy, India - April 2020 - In response to the emergency caused by COVID-19, the Salesian Province of Tiruchy (INT), with the collaboration and authorization of public officials, is offering assistance services to people in need, providing them with basic necessities, information and hygiene services. For example, the "DB Nest" community in Tiruppur, reaches migrants by bringing them basic food and health devices, and has set up a telephone help desk for assistance.
