If we wanted to find a metaphor to fully describe the revolution caused to society since the introduction and use of the Internet, we could certainly compare this phenomenon to the discovery of a new planet, a new continent, a territory continuously being explored that we cannot manage to fully fathom, one we  repeatedly marvel at, that surprises us with ever-new aspects and unexpressed potential.

They call us YOUTH experts. I do not know if we are experts, but one thing is certain: we Salesians have youth in our DNA since the moment Don Bosco dreamed of us, thought of us. Our identity is so tied to them that one cannot conceive a Salesian as being far away from young people.

Some were astonished to see the face of Pope Francis injured during his visit to Colombia. The bruise on his eyebrow and on his cheekbone, the blood-stained white garment. A small accident on the Pope-mobile, which brought to mind the words of Bergoglio and inspired my ANS Editorial: "I prefer a Church that is bruised, wounded and dirty because it is going out into the streets, rather than a Church made sick by closure and the convenience of clinging to its own safety."
