After the reception at the airport and the transfer to the Provincial House of Caracas tomorrow evening, the official activities will start the next morning with the meeting with the Provincial Commissions, in Caracas. In the afternoon, however, the Rector Major travels to Los Teques to meet the Salesians in formation and celebrate the Eucharist.
On Saturday, 8 February, the central act will undoubtedly be the Eucharist celebrating the installation of the new Provincial of the Salesians of Venezuela, Fr Rafael Bernardo Montenegro Latouche, at the Temple of Don Bosco in Altamira, Caracas. Other important moments include the meeting with the Salesian Family in the morning and one with the bishops in the afternoon.
On Sunday 9, there is the solemn Mass at the "La Dolorita" center in Caracas; in the afternoon, his participation in the National Youth Meeting.
Monday shall be especially busy, what with meeting Salesian educators, the Eucharist in the "Boleita" center, in Caracas, and two meetings with two groups of the Salesian Family who are very present and active in Venezuela: the "Damas Salesianas" and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.
Finally, Tuesday, he has meetings scheduled with the new Provincial and his Council, and then with all the Directors of the Salesian works.
