Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam - January 2020 - On January 17, on the occasion of the celebrations for the Lunar New Year, the Day of the Salesian Family of Vietnam was held. The event was attended by various representatives of the Salesian Family, who were able to attend the presentation of the Rector Major's Strenna 2020, "Good Christians and upright citizens", led by Fr Joseph Nguyen Van Quang, VIE Provincial; it was followed by a representation on the same theme by FMA novices together with several young people. The program of the Congress of Salesian Cooperators of East Asia-Oceania, scheduled in Vietnam from 23 to 26 July 2020 on "Love, live and serve young people", and a video on the 25-year history of the association in the country, were then presented.
