Ljubljana Rakovnik, Slovenia - December 2019 - On 7 December, the Slovenian Salesian Family filled the shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Rakovnik to honor the feast of Mary and celebrate the promises of four Salesian Cooperators: Anita, Andrej, Mihaela and Timotej. The new Salesian Cooperators come from different parishes, Salesian and not, and were enthused by Salesian charism throughout their participation in Salesian youth programs as animators and guides to the summer oratory or working in youth centers. The Holy Mass was presided by Fr Marko Košnik, SDB, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Slovenia. The promise was accepted by Br Tilen Mlakar, provincial coordinator, currently animating about 70 Salesian Cooperators in Slovenia.
