São João del Rei, Brazil - October 2019 – The National Youth Day in the Diocese of São João del Rei was celebrated on 27 October in the parish of "St Giovanni Bosco". About two thousand young people took part in the event, with moments of animation, thematic seminars, games, round tables and the Eucharistic celebration presided by Msgr. José Eudes Campos do Nascimento, bishop of São João del Rei. Fr. Roberto Modesto Carneiro, SDB, pastor and head of Youth Ministry, emphasized: "We are doing what Don Bosco wanted, welcoming young people as Church, looking at them with the eyes of God."
