Johannesburg, South Africa - October 2019 - On 3 October, the Salesian Family of the Vice Province of Southern Africa (AFM) carried out its first consultation which was attended by the Salesians of Don Bosco, with the Superior of the AFM Vice-Province and the delegate; the FMA, with provincial and delegate; the Salesian Cooperators, with the provincial coordinator and the Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of Christians (MSMHC). A brief report was shared regarding the recent meeting of delegates for the Salesian Family. The consultation also shared the current state of the Salesian Family in the vice-province today, reviewed which groups should be strengthened and promoted. It also planned the day of the Salesian Family for 2020.
