Bangkok, Thailand - July 2019 - Salesian schools in Thailand encourage their students to practice their musical skills because, as Don Bosco said: "A Salesian house without music is like a body without a soul". On 17 July in Bangkok the musical band of the Salesian school "Huahin Vitthayalai School", in the province of Prachuabkhirikhan, took part in the "Concert Band Showcase" competition of the "Music and Marching Arts International 2019", obtaining the gold medal. Previously, on June 30th, the band of the "Sarasit Phithayalai School", Banpong, in the province of Ratchaburi, had won the silver medal at the "Indoor Showband Division 1" competition.
