Ostrava, Czech Republic - June 2019 - 17 lay volunteers from the Czech Republic received their missionary mandate during a solemn liturgy on Sunday 9 June in the church of St. Joseph in Ostrava. The celebration was presided by Fr Petr Vaculík, Superior of the Salesian Province of the Czech Republic (CEP), before various priests. The young volunteers, who will leave during the summer holidays, shall serve in Angola, Bulgaria, Ecuador, India, Kenya, Tanzania and Papua New Guinea.
