Heverlee, Belgium - May 2019 - On May 11 the "Youth Service Don Bosco" in the Flanders region, North Belgium Province (BEN), celebrated the 60th anniversary of its foundation. The great celebration brought together current and past volunteers, their families, employees, Salesians, and friends of this program. Founded in 1959, the “Don Bosco Youth Service” is inspired by Don Bosco and bases its work on Salesian youth formation and on the Salesian organization of youth work, drawing on Salesian charism to develop all its activities. The "Don Bosco Youth Service" already has a long history, but looking at the many children present, all the participants understood that the future will also be brilliant.
