Krakow, Poland - April 2019 - On 13 April, at the Salesian Seminary in Krakow, the VII edition of the conference "Dialogues on education" was held on the theme "Theater as an educational tool". The event was organized by the Krakow Province (PLS), the Salesian Educational Center in Krakow and the Salesian Schools in Oświęcim. It was opened by the Provincial PLS, Fr Adam Parszywka, followed by a greeting by the organizer, Fr Sylwester Jędrzejewski. In the first session, Fr Dariusz Bartocha, director of the Salesian Institute of Oświęcim, spoke on the theme: "The Theater in the Salesian educational system: pedagogical and theological aspect"; then Mrs Róża Grzywacz, teacher and animator of Theater in the Salesian Schools of Oświęcim, and some young actors, spoke of their experiences. In the afternoon, the round table "The Theater as an aspect of the pedagogy of sanctity" was held, moderated by Fr Sylwester Jędrzejewski. Finally, at the theater of the Salesian Seminary, the Oświęcim theater group performed the musical "Mamma mia".
