The Salesian publisher and the information giant have reached an agreement for the production and distribution of digital educational products for adaptive learning in schools, through the use of artificial intelligence and data analysis, Big Data.
The rapid pace of change and the transformation of the educational paradigm have led all the actors involved in teaching to consider how to deal with attention to diversity.
The use of artificial intelligence in school will offer the student personalized learning, adapted to his or her needs, with the contents and materials they need at all times. Reaching the maximum potential of each student, according to his or her abilities, will thus be the objective. Also, the technology will provide educators with a virtual assistant that will facilitate the individualized accompaniment of the student and will be able to detect and solve the challenges of the learning process.
Marc Sanz López, Director of "Google for Education" for Southern Europe said: "With this strategic alliance we want to accompany leaders and teachers in the process of transformation and evolution of education, having technology as a key ally to achieve this goal and to support their projects."
According to Antonio Garrido, General Manager of the Edebé Group, "this collaboration agreement allows us to support the digital transformation of schools and give teachers more time to personalize the teaching and be able to make every student face his own challenges."
As a result of this agreement, the first products will be made available during the 2019/2020 school year.
The collaboration between the two companies aims to drive digital transformation with the combination of Google's digital tools and Edebé's digital educational products and content. These new products integrate with the "Google for Education" ecosystem consisting of the "G Suite for Education" collaboration and communication platform and Chromebook devices.
Thanks to this agreement, the latest findings of Artificial Intelligence and adaptive learning based on Big Data will be within reach of the educational community and will be able to respond to its great challenges.
