Lima, Peru - 8 December 2018 - On December 8, two Vietnamese Salesians belonging to the Province of Peru were ordained priests in the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Lima. The Salesians, Peter Nguyen Huu Tien and Paul Tran Bao Thang, were ordained priests by the laying on of hands and the consecratory prayer of Cardinal Pedro Barreto, archbishop of Huancayo. Also present at the celebration were the Provincial, Fr Manolo Cayo, and relatives of the two Salesians, from Vietnam.
