Founded in 1991, at present the Salesian educational institute "San Luís" welcomes 760 minors, from kindergarten to middle school. It is a very important reference point for the local Salesian Family because it houses, in addition to schools, a very popular oratory and welcomes groups of all kinds related to the spiritual Sons of Don Bosco: young people, parents, pupils and past pupils, teachers, Salesians Cooperators, and others.
There are numerous activities carried out at the center. They range from Christian-pastoral ones such as catechism, the oratory, the organization of summer camps and preparation for the Sacraments; to sports, with the possibility to play soccer, volleyball, basketball; up to art, with dance and theater classes.
At San Luís there are also cultural activities of all kinds, assemblies, vocational training courses, forums, debates, work tables, meetings, educational events, participatory activities of various kinds.
For this reason, the community has decided to expand its structures and equip itself with a multi-purpose building that can accommodate the many groups that flock to its courtyards and playgrounds.
The purpose is the same as always, that of mgr. Lasagna's: to continue the Don Bosco Preventive System in Paraguay.
