Middle East - July 2017 – Each year the homes of Don Bosco in the Middle East Province (MOR) open their doors to thousands of young people from various religions and nationalities to host the Youth Summer Camps. Salesians, laity and animators take care of the youths by offering them various activities, a safe place, a hug, a simple smile, especially in those areas where there are conflicts and wars. The presence of young people in some Salesian works in the Middle East are as follows: 131 - Alexandria; 216 - Cairo; 325 - Kafroun; 1030 -Aleppo; 1460 - Damascus, and a large number of children in Bethlehem and Nazareth.
