Fr A.F. Artime recorded this video, with the collaboration of the Social Communication team of the Province of Paraguay, at Ypacaraí, during the Team Visit to the Salesian Region of the American Southern Cone. This came a few days after his visit to Chile to mark the first centenary of the death of the Salesian missionary pioneer Mons. Giuseppe Fagnano.
Mons. Fagnano, and Sr. Angela Vallese, a missionary of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, and their fellow Salesians and missionaries, "were all real saints, heroes, passionate about their missionary commitment with an authentic passion for God," according to Fr A.F. Artime,
The Rector Major invites us, in this Easter season, to follow their example by reaching out to young people, "in whom we find our fullness … with a true educational and pastoral passion", bringing them the fire and the warmth of people who have met God.
