Ecuador – CSFPA Celebrates 50th Anniversary with a Webinar Series on Integral Salesian Accompaniment

20 March 2025

(ANS – Quito) – As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, the Salesian Center for Permanent Formation in America (CSFPA) is offering a special gift to the Salesian Family and laypeople across the continent: a series of four webinars focused on Integral Salesian Accompaniment. Staying true to its mission of ongoing formation, particularly in Salesian pedagogy, the CSFPA aims to revitalize the oratory presence among young people through this initiative.

The webinar series explores the key principles of Salesian accompaniment, addressing essential topics with themes such as “the gaze,” “listening,” “processes,” and “goals”—all fundamental aspects of walking alongside young people in their personal and spiritual growth.

The first webinar took place on March 12 and received an overwhelmingly positive response. A total of 318 participants from various Latin American countries joined the session, demonstrating a strong interest and need to delve deeper into the subject.

The next session is scheduled for June 11, focusing on “Listening in Salesian Accompaniment.” The organizers encourage everyone to stay engaged and participate in these formative and enriching discussions.

“Stay tuned for the upcoming sessions and join us on this journey of Salesian formation and growth,” the organizers concluded.

For those interested, the content from the first webinar, “The Gaze in Accompaniment,” is available for viewing at the following link.
