India – "Don Bosco Naigaon" Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence

Mumbai, India – February 2025 – On February 1, Don Bosco High School and Junior College in Naigaon, near Mumbai, celebrated the conclusion of their 25th-anniversary celebrations. The event brought together students, alumni, staff, and distinguished guests to reflect on the school's growth and its future. With the theme "Hold My Hand," the event highlighted Don Bosco's mission, whose guiding principles continue to inspire the institution. More than 800 students enthusiastically showcased their talents through various performances. From a musical celebration to a touching documentary narrating the school's history, the event embodied a strong sense of community and progress. After heartfelt testimonies from alumni, the evening concluded with the theatrical musical "Hold My Hand." 

Fr. Dominic Martis, the Director, welcomed the audience and reflected on the school’s remarkable journey over the past 25 years. Fr. Savio Silveira, Provincial of the Salesian Province of India-Mumbai (INB), inaugurated and blessed the newly constructed third floor of the school, symbolizing the continuous expansion of the institution. The Provincial expressed deep gratitude to Fr. William Falcao, founder and first Principal of the school, for his vision and dedication in establishing the institution. In turn, Fr. Falcao shared the challenges faced during the school's early years. 

The event also honored long-serving staff members, including Mr. Pankaj Pandey, who was recognized for his 25 years of dedicated service. Finally, Fr. Anthony Fonseca, the current Principal, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the entire school community.
