The Hon. Justice Shri. Bechu Kurian Thomas inaugurated the Golden Jubilee of Sneha Bhavan. The extraordinary visitor to the Bangalore Province, Father Fabio Attard SDB, delivered the benedictory address, and Father Koyickal Jose Thomas SDB, the Provincial of Bangalore, delivered the keynote address. Shri. Hibi Eden MP released the anticipated 50-year impact study on the Sneha Bhavan Alumni, Shri. Lokanath Behera, the Former DGP, and Fr. Shaiju, the Vicar General of Kochi Diocese, released the book "The Footprints of Dreams ." Fr. P D Thomas, the Executive Director, Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan, and other honourary dignitaries were also present.

The occasion witnessed the official release of the survey report highlighting the social transformation that Don Bosco Institution has brought about in the lives of the youth. The 50 golden stories of the Sneha Bhavan Alumni, who found stability and success through the sheer effort of Sneha Bhavan, were also released. Further, an exhibition, through invaluable pictures and past newspaper articles, portrayed the evolution, growth, and profound impact that Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan had on the community from 1974 to 2024. There was also an exhibition of the handicrafts made by one of the Bosco Nilayam inmates. A captivating cultural programme by the Sneha Bhavan children topped the function.
