Ranchi, India – September 2024 – The Don Bosco Job Placement Network and the Don Bosco Pvt ITI Salesian Institute in Kokar, near Ranchi, have organised a Labour Fair for the city's young people. The event was attended by 12 companies that offered over 1,000 job opportunities, connecting job seekers with employers and creating valuable employment prospects for the local community. The fair was organised in collaboration with the District Employment Exchange office in Ranchi and with the Catholic Youth Movement of the Archdiocese of Ranchi. The goal was to open a door to a brighter future, offering young people fundamental job opportunities. The event was attended by many illustrious Salesians, such as Fr Babu Varghese, Director of on Bosco Kokar”, Br Ignatius Kerketta, SDB, Vice-Principal of Don Bosco ITI and Fr Gabriel Karunaraj, National Director of the Don Bosco Job Placement Network. The entire event was coordinated by Mr. Thomas Chempakathinal, Principal of Don Bosco ITI.
