Shillong, India – May 2024 – On the morning of 24 May during a touching ceremony, 28 Salesian novices from Don Bosco Sunnyside Novitiate in Shillong made their first professions. The celebration was presided over by Fr John Zosiama, Superior of the Province of Shillong  India (INS) and involved numerous faithful, priests, men and women religious, as well as the parents and relatives of the novices. The ceremony marked a significant stage in the journey of these young Salesians, who chose to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the service of God and humanity.
