Guatemala City, Gautemala - May 2024 – On 19 May the CEJUSA Salesian Youth Centre at the Salesian Theologate in Guatemala City was filled with joy and fervour when it welcomed about 400 participants to the National Meeting of Salesian Oratories. The event began with a solemn Eucharist concelebrated by Fr Alejandro Hernández, SDB and Fr Gabriel Romero, SDB, responsible for youth ministry. This moment of reflection and faith marked the beginning of a day full of emotions and learning. After the Mass, the participants enjoyed a lively welcome meeting, followed by a stimulating formative moment focused on Don Bosco's childhood dream, a fundamental piece of Salesian spirituality. A snack was then offered to recharge and prepare for the many activities planned. The day was diversified with moments of play for the little ones, a football tournament and a Zumba session. The animation continued with dynamics and dances that involved all the oratories, strengthening the bonds of friendship and community. Finally, the day ended with the traditional "Goodnight" and lunch.
