Numerous educational events, enriched by distinguished speakers, are the focus of the celebrations. Through conferences, seminars and cultural events, citizens are being offered an opportunity to explore educational issues of primary importance.
In recent days, "Don Bosco" has offered the city a brilliant theatrical show with the famous actor Giovanni Sciofoni on the theme of holiness: an evening that was an opportunity for fun but also for reflection for all participants. The next cultural event will be a great musical gala to be held on 9 June at the Teatro Verdi in Pordenone, held by the Pordenone Chamber Orchestra and the Accademia d’Archi Arrigoni. The evening will be opened by the students of the musical scientific project from the Salesian institute.
In the autumn, there will be a day of celebration that will involve all the past pupils of the Salesian school and the city authorities. On this occasion, a commemorative photographic exhibition will be set up inside the Collegio Don Bosco to evoke the highlights of the institute's history, offering a fascinating look at the moments that have shaped its identity over the years.
In the same period, a book will be presented that will tell in detail the history of the house, testifying to its positive impact on the lives of generations of students.
"The Collegio Don Bosco wishes to thank the Municipality of Pordenone and the Friuli Foundation for their generous contribution, which made the realisation of this extraordinary event possible. In addition, we are grateful for the valuable collaboration of the Panorama Association, which has made possible a rich and diverse program " said Fr Emanuele Zof, Delegate for Social Communication for the Salesian St Mark Province of Northeast Italy (INE), to which the work belongs.
