The main objective of the initiative is to promote the production of indigenous crafts among indigenous families living in the urban area of the city, also to help improve the financial income of this segment of the population. The project will also serve to form local indigenous populations on topics such as financial education, craft prices, interpersonal relationships and customer service, and at the end of this course a certificate will be issued to the participants. The formation takes place through groups of dialogue and exchange and the activities of the project will be publicised through social networks, other media and photographic testimonies, filming, institutional videos and testimonies of the participants. Enhancing local culture, the Pibuiwena Arte Xavante project also includes traditional cultural presentations. To make its actions feasible, the organisation has used resources to create personalised T-shirts and labels, packaging and consumables for the workshops. The initiative has the support of the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso, through an amendment by former deputy Xuxu dal Molin, and the Secretariat of Culture, Sports and Leisure (SECEL) of the State of Mato Grosso.
