Seoul, South Korea – January 2024 – On the feast day of St Francis de Sales, January 24, the Salesian Korean Holy Martyrs Province (KOR) rejoiced at the priestly ordination of three Salesians - Stefano Kim Bumjun, Marciano Lee Changmin and Joseph Shin Yoonmin - and the diaconate ordination of Dominic Kim Hyunki. The celebration, presided over by the archbishop emeritus of Gwangju, Archbishop Hijino Kim HeeJung, took place at the Seoul Provincial House, in the presence of about 1,000 people, including Salesians, members of the Salesian Family and family members of the newly ordained. Fr Timothy Won Cheol Choi, KOR Provincial, encouraged the four young Salesians to always accompany the poor and the needy, with the heart of Don Bosco.
