Chennai, India – December 2023 - On  27 December 2023, the  Province of Chennai witnessed the ordination of 15 new priests at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, Perambur, Chennai. Most Rev. Dr. George Antonysamy, the Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore presided over the Eucharistic celebration and conferred the Ordination. More than 250 priests and religious concelebrated in the mass, and nearly 2500 faithful participated in the celebrations. Among those ordained, 13 belong to the Salesian Province of Chennai, 1 belongs to the Salesian Province of Tiruchy and 1 is a missionary belonging to the Salesian Province of Paraguay.
