Tlaquepaque, Mexico - November 2023 - From 13 to 18 November, Fr Gabriel Romero, Councillor for the South Cone Region, undertook an Extraordinary Visitation to the community of the Interprovincial Theologate in Tlaquepaque, which welcomes Salesians from the Provinces of Mexico, Guadalajara and Mexico City; the United States West and East (Canada); the Antilles and the Vice-Province of Haiti. Fr Romero emphasised the serenity of the formation environment, the good accompaniment by the formation community and other professionals, the ecclesiastical experience of the Institute of Theological Formation, the possibility of living the formation proposal in the mission - because of the proximity of the San Javier Oratory, opposite the house - and the richness of the cultural diversity in the community and the Institute. This house of formation will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its foundation on 8 December.
