The auditions for the new musical, by composer Toño Casado, author of successful musicals such as "33 - El Musical" and "Viacrucis", took place on 7 and 8 November. The work will feature a selected cast of artists and a staging akin to the level of the "Gran Vía Madrileña"'s greatest productions. To achieve this, professionals with extensive experience in successful musicals are already working on set design, musical arrangements, choreography, costumes and lighting.
Tickets for the musical will be on sale through the website suenoselmusical.es: from Tuesday to Friday there will be morning subscriptions reserved for schools and groups; the performances open to all on the weekend will be held in the afternoon: one on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday.
The underlying theme of the entire representation is , as the title says, about dreams: is it possible to turn dreams into reality? In the work, a joyful circus company tells the story of little John Bosco, a poor boy from a village in northern Italy in the nineteenth century, who at the age of nine had a dream that could direct his entire destiny. He will then become a magician, an acrobat and a very special priest, who, with the help of the Lady of the Trapeze and a Mother Margaret revisited in a very special way, will live exciting and fun adventures.
"Sueños - El Musical" is a brilliant show for the whole audience, surprising and dizzying, which will make you laugh and cry. A show where you can see, through music, dance, acrobatics and magic, that dreams can become reality. Just believe in it and dream big.
