Poland – All Saints' Day Ball

06 November 2023

Krakow, Poland - October 2023 - On 31 October, starting at 3pm, the Salesian Saltrom (Salezjański Ruch Troski or Młodzież - Salesian Youth Care Movement), belonging to the Krakow Province (PLS) began to fill with various saints, patrons and angels, all coming for the "All Saints' Day Ball". This event was a form of preparation for All Saints' Day, in the spirit of Christian hope and the hope that comes with it. However, there was also another goal, namely to integrate the local environment of Krakow District VIII - Dębniki. And 'Saltrom' was open to everyone who wanted to participate in the event. The creativity of the youngest children and their parents in designing the costumes was amazing. In fact, several saints were represented, including St Jacinta of Fatima, St Rita in a black nun's habit, St Hedwig Queen, St George and other saints and blesseds. During the festival there was dancing, singing, a competition to get to know the saints, the choice of the best costume and lots of fun.
